ALL of D1 🌟Final Meet & Greet🌟 with Misael Ramos!

Dear District 1 Neighbors,

You are invited join your neighbors in conversation with Misael Ramos, community organizer running for Austin City Council District 1, endorsed by National DSA, Austin DSA, & Austin Sierra Club. Misael Ramos is running with 20 years of experience working with neighbors on local issues across the board.

The son of an immigrant currently facing retaliation for standing with Austinites courageously protesting the ICE shooting of Wilber Perez, Misael will fight to defend immigrant communities and our civil liberties. As President of the Rogers Washington Holy Cross Neighborhood, Misael won the fight to establish a historic preservation district to protect affordability and keep residents rooted in their community. As Chair of the Blackland Community Development Corporation, he preserved affordable homes and provided truly affordable housing opportunities. Misael will not take funding from the private development & real estate interests that have sway at City Hall, demonstrating his commitment to work for everyday Austinites, not lobbyists. Misael would ensure District 1 residents get the accountable representation we deserve!

Come learn about Misael’s priorities for affordability, immigration, public safety, and more, ask any questions you may have, and talk to Misael about the issues that matter to you! This is our final Meet & Greet opportunity before Early Voting begins (Oct 19th-30th).
