The Energy Expedition
A 1-Day Nature Adventure to Reclaim Your Capacity
Are you drowning in an endless to-do list of work opportunities and personal projects that it feels like you never have the time to fully switch off?
The Energy Expedition is your pattern interrupt.
We are entirely ditching the white meeting rooms, endless presentation decks and jarring notification pings. On Saturday 5th September, you will unplug from the city with an intimate group of 10 professionals, lace up your boots and step onto a beautiful trail (~5 hours hiking time) to build your personal capacity.
You will be guided through life design workshops to help you tune into your body, understand your motivations and design sustainable environments. By the end you will have designed your own Energy Toolkit that you can take into your everyday.
The hike is designed to push you without breaking you. There will be no target pace. Our focus is on the exercises, connection and being in nature.
The Energy Toolkit
Across an immersive journey through the Kent Downs, you will learn the five frameworks of the Energy Toolkit:
The Boots (Maintain Your Body): Lacing up together at Basecamp, you will tune into your body with a guided Sound Bath as we explore what it means to reconnect with your senses.
The Flask (Fuel Your Motivation): On the trail we'll take an honest look at burnout. You will audit your Purpose, Profit and Play mix and discover how you can move towards a more sustainable balance.
The Ice Axe (Shape Your Environment): Arriving at the local Nature Reserve, complete with a bird hide and reservoir, you'll lean into the physical environments that give you energy.
The Stopwatch (Pace Your Progress): As we hike towards the viewpoint, you'll dive into how you're pacing your life. You'll learn where you need to Sprint, Jog, Walk or intentionally Rest.
The Field Guide (Learn From Mentors): On our return to Basecamp, you'll share your current blockers. This will give the group an opportunity to support and signpost you to potential mentors in their network.
