​Rep Your Block, Locally Sourced NYC, and NYC Politics 101 are partnering to bring you a night dedicated to learning about County Committee!

​Did you know that 30% of current NY Assemblymembers were originally appointed by County Committee? Who are these folks picking our elected officials?

​The County Committee is the ground floor of the Democratic Party. In New York state, the County Committee is the most local, ground-level of party governance. And in New York City, each borough has its own County Committee.

​Come learn all about this position, why it matters, and how you can run for it in your local district in 2026!
