Million Mushroom March
Million Mushroom March
Presented by The Psychedelic Society of Kansas City
Join us for the Million Mushroom March, a global day of action coming to Kansas City as part of a coordinated movement spanning dozens of cities worldwide. On May 2nd, PSKC invites you to gather at Loose Park as we step into a shared vision of healing, science, and policy reform—grounded in community, compassion, and evidence.
The Million Mushroom March is an international grassroots movement advocating for equitable, regulated access to plant medicines—including psilocybin, ibogaine, and other naturally derived therapies—while honoring both modern research and ancestral healing traditions.
MMM supports sensible measures such as responsible frameworks, medical oversight, and public health replacing punishment-based drug policy.
Kansas City joins this global coalition at a pivotal moment. In 2026, Missouri has taken meaningful steps forward, with the House advancing legislation supporting psychedelic-assisted therapy research and access pathways, including measures related to psilocybin and ibogaine. This march is both a celebration of that progress and a call to continue building thoughtful, evidence-based policy.
🌱 What to Expect
A peaceful, community-centered gathering aligned with a global movement
Advocacy for science-driven, humane drug policy reform
Connection with others interested in healing, harm reduction, and personal growth
A visible show of support for continued legislative momentum in Missouri
And yes: mushroom hats will be available for attendees while supplies last. Come early, bring friends, and show up in full mycelial spirit.
🍄 In the spirit of community and community organizing we’ll also be joining together for a community picnic AND raising money and collecting food donations for Harvesters! Please bring some snacks and drinks to share and canned and dry goods to donate. Let’s join eachother for a meal and feed our community as well! 🍄
🌍 Why We March
We march for a future where:
People can access plant medicines safely and legally without fear
Policy reflects research, not stigma
Indigenous knowledge is respected, not exploited
Individuals are treated as patients and citizens not criminals
The Million Mushroom March is decentralized, inclusive, and rooted in shared principles of safety, reform, rights, and unity while bringing together advocates, clinicians, veterans, organizers, and everyday people who believe there’s a better path forward.
