​Join us for HMS Summer Passport Open Play — a curated social mahjong experience at HMS Mahjong Studio in downtown Westmont.

​Designed for players who already know the basics of American Mahjong, HMS Open Play blends structured gameplay with the warm, community-centered atmosphere HMS is known for.

​Players will be thoughtfully seated based on comfort level and gameplay pace to create balanced, enjoyable tables throughout the evening. Whether you’re continuing to build confidence, reconnecting with familiar faces, or settling into your new weekly mahjong ritual, Open Play is the heartbeat of the HMS summer season.

• ​This is a social gameplay event, not a formal instructional class

• ​Players should already know the basics of American Mahjong and be comfortable reading the NMJL card

• ​Summer Passport holders must reserve their seat in advance

• ​Due to limited seating and curated table planning, cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event will result in forfeiture of that passport play
