The D.O.S.E. Effect of Music: An Experiential Lunch & Learn Briefing for Behavioral Health and Senior Care Leaders
Rock to Recovery and BandJam invite a select group of South Florida healthcare and treatment professionals to an intimate Lunch & Learn exploring the neuroscience of playing music — how songwriting, performance, and group creativity can improve treatment outcomes, accelerate recovery, mental health, emotional regulation, connection, and organizational wellness.
Hosted by BandJAM co-founders Wes Geer (former Korn guitarist and founder of Rock to Recovery) and David Carter (serial entrepreneur with two NASDAQ exits), alongside William Hurwitz, M.S., Director of South Florida Programs. This professional gathering is designed for executives, clinical leaders, outreach directors, program developers, and decision-makers across treatment, behavioral health, mental healthcare, senior living, adolescent programs, veterans services, and corporate wellness.
During the session, guests will be introduced to the Rock to Recovery / BandJam model, a nationally recognized music-based program that helps participants write, record, and perform an original song together in one session. The experience is part recovery, part neuroscience, part team-building, part connection. Lunch from (TBD) is included.
