Sunset Watercolor by the Sea
Be part of the next Sunset O’Clock community event 🌅🎨
Join us for a different kind of sunset experience by the sea, co-hosted by Sunset O’Clock and Chrysolie, where we'll slow down, get creative, meet new people, share a glass of wine, and turn the sunset into our own little artwork.
📍 Location: Batis Beach, Athens Riviera
We’ll meet at Batis Tram Station. The exact spot on the beach will be shared with registered participants on the day of the event. Toilets are available nearby.
We’ll meet at 6:00 PM, giving us plenty of time to settle in, get to know each other, and start creating before the sun begins to set.
As the evening unfolds, we’ll sit by the sea and use the changing sky, light, and colors as inspiration for our own watercolor paintings. You’ll have your own watercolor set and paper, and you’ll be guided through the creative process by Chrysolie.
No previous painting experience is needed. There’s no right or wrong way to capture a sunset, and no pressure to create a “perfect” painting. It’s simply a chance to slow down, experiment with color, and enjoy the moment with other people.
As we get closer to sunset around 7:20 PM, we’ll put down our brushes, come together, and share our artworks while watching the real sunset unfold in front of us.
Come on your own or with a friend. You don’t need to consider yourself an artist. Just bring your curiosity and enjoy an evening of creativity, connection, and a beautiful sunset by the sea.

About the hosts
Chrysolie is the creative project of Katerina Chrysoli, a painter, illustrator, and art therapist with a passion for creativity and artistic expression.
Her work spans painting, book illustration, murals, and mixed media, and she is constantly experimenting with new materials and techniques. Since 2019, she has illustrated more than ten books and has participated in exhibitions, festivals, and various artistic projects, with her work appearing in both public and private spaces.
Alongside her artistic work, Katerina designs and facilitates experiential art workshops for both children and adults, creating spaces for free expression, connection, and exploration.
Nature is an important source of inspiration in her work. She believes that through connecting with nature, observing our surroundings, and creating through art, we can slow down, reconnect with the present moment, and explore parts of our inner world.
With a degree in Psychology from Panteion University, she also incorporates elements of art therapy into her workshops, focusing not only on the final artwork but on the experience and what the creative process can offer us.
