In this talk, Bill will discuss how Polkadot is different from other blockchain ecosystems. Besides offering true decentralization, scalability, and on-chain governance, Polkadot allows developers to create projects that are simply not possible in most other ecosystems.

Zombienet, a tool developed by Parity Technologies provides a rich set of capabilities for running integration tests on blockchains connected to Polkadot. In this workshop, you'll use it's basic functionality to launch your own local Polkadot-like network and learn about how connecting chains to Polkadot works under the hood.
