About Event

Who remembers the dentist appointment, the backup childcare plan, the camp forms, the grocery gaps, the birthday gift, the bedtime handoff, and the fact that summer somehow needs to be planned three months ago? The Mental Load at Home is a conversation about the invisible logistics that keep family life moving, and why so much of that work still ends up on one person’s plate. We’re digging into childcare coordination, household systems, summer planning, daily decision-making, and the constant behind-the-scenes tracking that rarely gets counted as work.

We’ll talk about where the load builds up, how couples and co-parents can create better systems, and what it takes to move from one person managing everything to a home that runs with more clarity, fairness, and less resentment. Come for practical insight, fresh language for conversations you may already be trying to have, and the relief of hearing the hidden work named out loud.

Panelists:

Kathryn Hatcher - Camply

Ashley Chang Dawson - Sundays

Kelly Hubbell - Sage Haus

Stephanie Fornaro - Hello Nanny
