​🌳 Casa de Campo · Morning Loop — Madrid's Urban Forest

​No train, no bus, just the metro — Casa de Campo is Madrid's best-kept secret for a proper outdoor morning without leaving the city. Europe's largest urban park, with over 1,700 hectares of Mediterranean woodland, a peaceful reservoir, and enough open trail to feel genuinely away from it all. The perfect entry point for anyone new to Nuvia or new to hiking, and a lovely easy morning for regulars too. 🌿

​Distance: 10 km · Elevation: Minimal · Time: ~3 h · Difficulty: Easy. Flat to gently rolling paths, no technical sections. Suitable for complete beginners. 🥾

​Getting there: Metro Line 10 → Lago station (direct from most of Madrid, no bus needed).

​Logistics: Group size: Capped at 25, please sign up.

​Meeting point: At the exit of Metro Lago, Line 10. Please arrive by 8:30am.

​Return: Aiming to finish by ~12:30–13:00. Back in the city centre within minutes.

​What to bring: Comfortable trainers or hiking shoes. Snacks and at least 1L of water. Sunscreen. No need for a full packed lunch — this is a morning hike! 🧺

​Cost: Free. You only pay for your metro ticket (standard Abono or single fare). 🪙 (tips for the host in cash, coffee or transport fee are welcome)
