Army Demand Signal Forum II
The Army Demand Signal Forum is a full-day, in-person public event designed to bridge the gap in understanding between emerging technology companies, private capital firms, Army acquisitions, and research organizations.
We’re excited to announce that The Honorable Daniel Driscoll, Secretary of the Army, is confirmed to attend and speak in-person. His participation underscores the importance of this gathering and will provide valuable insight into the Army’s priorities and vision for the future.
This event culminates the Army Demand Signal series, providing a platform for emerging tech companies to propose solutions to the Army's key demands. The event is structured to facilitate multifaceted conversations among a diverse group of stakeholders, including senior leaders, emerging tech companies, army acquisitions (PEO), private capital, primes, and researchers. The program will bring together a remarkable group of leaders, including Dr. Matt Willis, Director of Army Innovation Programs; Brandon Tseng, Co-Founder of Shield AI; Brian MacCarthy, Managing Partner at Booz Allen Ventures; and Chris Manning, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Research & Technology at the U.S. Army. Joining them are Dr. Arwen DeCostanza, Strategic Partnerships at the DEVCOM Army Research Lab; Dr. Peter Khooshabeh, Lead of ARL West at the CCDC Army Research Lab; Kirsten Bartok Touw, Managing Partner at New Vista Capital; and Frank Finelli, Managing Director at The Carlyle Group. The lineup also features Joe Welch, Acting Deputy to the Commanding General of Army Futures Command, along with Congressman Pat Ryan of New York’s 18th District and Congressman Rob Wittman of Virginia’s 1st District.
Building on the success of the first event in Palo Alto, CA, this marks the second and final event in the two-part series. In the first event of the paired series six Army PEOs (representing half of Army acquisitions) presented their priorities to an audience of 50+ private capital firms and about 100+ emerging tech companies.
