​Li Deng

​Dr. Li Deng, Chief AI Officer and Global Head of Machine Learning at Vatic Investments. He is a prominent figure in AI, has navigated a distinguished career in academia and industry. As Citadel's Chief AI Officer since 2017, he has significantly shaped AI applications in finance. During his impactful 17-year tenure at Microsoft, Dr. Deng, as Chief Scientist of AI, played a key role in advancing AI and machine learning. Holding esteemed academic positions, including a full professorship at the University of Waterloo, he actively contributed to AI education and research. Recognized as a Fellow in prestigious societies and a member of the IEEE Signal Processing Society Board, Dr. Deng's influential status is further highlighted by awards for his groundbreaking work in speech recognition and deep learning, and authorship of six technical books.

​Estelle Giraud

​Dr. Estelle Giraud, CEO, and co-founder of Trellis Health, Techstars Seattle ‘23, leads an early-stage consumer health company focusing on a connected family health record and insights engine. With a background in deep-tech healthcare, she holds a Ph.D. in Population Genetics from the University of Western Australia. Dr. Giraud's career spans leadership roles in labs and genetics data science research in Australia and China. Notably, at Illumina, she propelled precision medicine and population genetics growth from $50M to $400M annually, collaborating with DTC companies like AncestryDNA and 23andMe. An advocate of precision medicine, Dr. Giraud holds patents in digital identity privacy and is dedicated to supporting women in tech and STEM careers.

​Eva Yin

​Eva Yin, JD, PhD, MPH, the Partner at Wilson Sonsini, specializes in advising life sciences companies across all growth stages. She provides strategic regulatory counseling, assists in go-to-market strategies and FDA regulatory pathways, and reviews clinical, research, and commercial contracts, among other services. With a diverse background, including a PhD in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University, MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and JD from the University of California College of Law, San Francisco, Dr. Yin offers extensive expertise in healthcare compliance and regulatory due diligence for various corporate matters.
