If It’s Not a Hell Yes, It’s a Polite No: Protect your energy this holiday season and head into the new year excited, not crawling.
If It’s Not a Hell Yes, It’s a Polite No
Protect your energy this holiday season and head into the new year excited, not crawling.
You’ve worked hard all year, and you’ve saved your vacation days for the holidays. Now December is here, and instead of feeling like a restorative break from work, the season feels like one more thing to get through.
Maybe you’re already thinking about the travel, the packed car, and the nights of too little sleep. Maybe it’s the family dynamics that wear you out before you even walk in the door. Maybe it’s the mental load: Did I buy a gift for everyone? Who’s watching the kids when school is out & work is in session? And maybe it’s the quiet question underneath it all: Am I doing these things because they light me up…or because I feel like I “should”?
If you’re already dreading how December will go, you’re not alone. But it doesn’t need to play out the way you’re picturing it right now.
In this live workshop, I’ll introduce the 4 dimensions of energy: Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual. Then I’ll guide you through a short meditation to check in with yourself. From there, we’ll build a plan for the next 4 weeks, so you protect your energy, build in rest and recovery, and make room for the moments that bring you joy.
What we’ll explore together
The 4 dimensions of energy. Where the holidays drain you and where they could fill you up.
A guided meditation to answer one honest question: How am I really doing?
Your holiday plan. What you need to protect your energy and where to intentionally build in rest and joy.
Your “hell yes.” How to tell which invitations light you up and which ones drain you, and how to politely decline the draining ones without the guilt.
You’ll leave with
A clear, honest answer to: How am I really doing?
A realistic plan for the next 4 weeks, with rest, recovery, and joy built in
The confidence to make intentional choices instead of falling back into old patterns and saying yes because you feel like you “should”
The feeling that you’re in control of this season, so you can head into January excited instead of drained
