Take Over a Business: Your Shortcut to Entrepreneurship

What if your path to entrepreneurship didn’t start with a blank page?

Every year, successful small and medium-sized businesses in Finland are looking for their next owner. At the same time, there are students and young professionals who would like to become entrepreneurs but don’t necessarily want to build a company from scratch.

Jatkajat is a LAB University of Applied Sciences project connecting SMEs looking for successors with people interested in taking over an existing business.

Join us at StartHub Lahti to discover what business succession can look like, what it takes to become a successor, and why taking over an existing company could be an interesting alternative to starting from zero.

During the event, you will:

💡 Learn how taking over an existing business works
🏢 Discover what opportunities are available for students and young professionals
🤝 Meet people working with business succession and entrepreneurship
🔎 Find out what makes a good successor
💬 Ask questions and discuss your own ideas
🚀 Explore whether becoming a business owner could be your next step

You don't need to have a business idea, previous entrepreneurial experience, or a detailed plan.

You just need to be curious about entrepreneurship and open to a different way of becoming a business owner.

Come with questions. Leave with a new perspective on entrepreneurship.
