🚆 Getting There
Commute: You can take the T1 Berowra via Gordon train from Central Station at 7:45am (Platform 16) and get off at Turamurra at 8:26am. You will then take the 8:50am 577 Turramurra via North Turramurra Bus from Stand D. If you miss this, the next bus is at 9:50am.
🚗 Driving
You can park outside the National Park entrance or at Sphinx Memorial (paid parking).
🥾 Hike Overview
Join us for a scenic bushwalk through Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, exploring beautiful forests, peaceful waterways, and mangrove-lined creeks!
Starting at the Sphinx Memorial, we’ll follow Cowan Creek towards Bobbin Head, passing Empire Marina and the historic Halvorsen’s Boatshed. Expect lush bushland, beautiful water views, wildlife sightings, and a few rocky sections before making our way back along the Sphinx Track.
Proper hiking shoes are recommended, and be prepared for a short climb on the return!
We will have a 15-20min break at Bobbin Head as there is a cafe at the midpoint location.
