​We're delighted to invite you to the launch of the Mercia CFO Forum – a community bringing together finance leaders from across our portfolio to share insights, tackle common challenges, and build connections with peers navigating similar growth stages.

​As part of the CFO Forum, we’re hosting a series of sessions that focus on the practical issues CFOs face today — from fundraising and cash management to scaling finance functions and preparing for exit.

​The first of these sessions will be a breakfast roundtable which we will host at our office in central London where you’ll hear from our guest speaker Julie Parmenter. Julie is a successful and experienced CFO who knows this journey well and has hard-won insights and valuable advice to share.

​From her time at nDreams (a Mercia investment that delivered a highly successful exit) to her current work with multiple venture-backed companies, Julie will share her perspective on the most critical elements of the CFO role, including aligning the organisation around the value creation plan, strategic prioritisation and resource allocation, and holding teams accountable for results.

​We'll then move into a roundtable session around these themes, where you'll share your thoughts and hear others' perspectives. Expect candid discussion, practical takeaways, and the chance to compare notes with other CFOs who understand the realities of high-growth businesses. Key discussion points and insights from the roundtable will be captured and shared with the CFO Forum.
