About Event

This is a special one-off Zig Day event hosted at the MIT Museum in Boston!

TigerBeetle has kindly offered to sponsor a Zig Day that runs the day before Systems Distributed '26 (https://systemsdistributed.com), to give an opportunity to both locals and conference attendees to experience a Zig Day.

Zig Days are full-day collaborative programming events.

We meet in the morning, introduce ourselves and form small groups to work on learning / passion projects with the ultimate goal of learning systems thinking and how to make software you can love.

Here you can learn more about systems thinking and software you can love.

The event is open to the public but spaces are limited; attendance is by registration only.

The program will run as follows (times are approximate):

  • 9:00 - 9:30: gathering and chit-chat

  • 9:30 - 10:00: introductions, form groups, setup workstations

  • 10:00 - 01:00: work on stuff together

  • 01:00 - 02:30: lunch break

  • 02:30 - 04:30: work on stuff together (continued)

  • 04:30 - 05:00: show others what you built and what you learnt
