Cantina Labs @ ICML 2026 Community Dinner [8 July 2026]
A small private dinner during ICML week for a handful of researchers and industry partners working on the harder problems in video generation and multimodal AI: long-horizon coherence, controllability, memory, and the architectural questions behind real-time multimodal generation.
Cantina Labs is the research lab behind the Cantina app, the social AI product co-founded by Sean Parker (Series A, backed by a16z and Benchmark). The lab works on video, speech, and multimodal modeling for AI characters with persistent identity and presence across modalities.
Hosted by CTO Timo Mertens (MIT PhD, leading Cantina's research across video, speech, and multimodal models). Guests will include researchers from leading academic labs and industry research groups in Korea and beyond. The table is curated, and the conversation is the point.
Bicena, Seoul
