The Green Room is a youth program and community space focused on cultivating meaningful connections, growth & service. 

The Green Room

 is a full-day, two-part event at The Green Room designed to help participants build confidence, skills, and real connections as they navigate the Canadian job market.

Across the day, you’ll move from simply having a resume to actually 

understanding how to navigate work and opportunities with purpose, awareness, and support

Workshop 1: Forward Focus (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM)

This interactive workshop focuses on the foundations of job searching in Canada. Participants will:

In this afternoon session, participants turn lived experience into resume-ready skills and stories. They will:

Anyone who is job searching, new to Canada, preparing for their first roles, changing directions, or wanting to feel more confident and informed about “what’s next” in their work and life.
