Dye a garment from your wardrobe with living blue of the Mexican highlands.

Step into the rhythmic, ancient practice of Indigo dyeing during a morning session. For this special community gathering, our vats will be infused with Indigofera suffruticosa, sourced directly from traditional artisans in Oaxaca, Mexico. Unlike other botanical dyes,

 that requires no mordant and a unique "dip and oxidize" process to reveal its depth.

We will gather to wake up the vats, watching as the fabric emerges from the liquid a startling lime green, only to transform into a rich, resonant blue as it meets the air. 

This is a communal ritual of patience and transformation.

Please wear clothing you don't mind getting a little indigo on, water, sun protection & an open mind.
