Dungeon Crawl Classics with Emily

​This is an RPG Fest event; we'll be playing an in-person tabletop roleplaying game with a small group. The game will be hosted in Western Queens. Come prepared to roleplay!

​You were meant for greater things.

​For years you've eked out an unremarkable life under your masters but it's not yours. Then in your dreams, a woman in blue, her face in shadows confirms to you that your destiny has been stolen from you before your own birth.

​You become detached from your life. The food you eat no longer satisfies, your friends feel hollow, your lovers feel false. The woman in blue continues to affirm your suspicions. Your work slips and you begin spending your days in a haze. She makes her offer "Become my ally," she speaks as a tapestry of voices in your dreams "and your enemies shall become my enemies, and together we shall take back the life that was promised to you by the stars. Come and find me at the cliff."

​The people that claim to love you beg and plead and cry, but you leave them. Armed strangers stop you but turn away once they see your disheveled state, hear your mutterings. Some spit at you, they call you mad.

​It doesn't matter. Every step is indistinguishable from your dreams and always she is calling you, filling your mind with stolen destiny. You do not know how long it has been nor how far you have traveled. There is a cliff ahead.

​We will be playing Hole in the Sky, a funnel written for Dungeon Crawl Classics. In this adventure, you play as a mob of peasants heeding the call of the Lady in Blue. Many (possibly all) will die but survivors will have their destinies forever changed.
