About Event

Are you someone who's genuinely curious in Chinese tea culture but don't know where to start? Or you've been to some of Edward's tea workshops but would like to meet people in a light-hearted environment?

If so, we would love to invite you to an intimate gathering with Edward, an avid tea sommelier, while meeting some peers! To learn, connect, and discover the journey behind the leaf that carries the culture beyond just the leaf itself.

This event is free to attend, to support the business for allowing us to use their space, we kindly ask you to order some food and drink when you arrive. The minimum spend is $20.

Edward Bio:

Edward Qu is a tea sommelier and oenologist specializing in sensory evaluation across tea and wine. He works in sensory education and winery lab operations at the Niagara College Teaching Winery, is a VQA Ontario Wine Panelist, and an instructor in the University of Toronto’s World of Wine program.

Holding Advanced Chinese Tea certifications and completing WSET diploma, he curates sensory-driven wine tastings and tea workshops through SIMILARMINDS.CA and leads immersive tea journeys in China, including a newly launched April expedition.
