Centific Locwalk with GlobalSake

​Join us for a special Flow LocWalk in partnership with GlobalSake, where localization, culture, and craftsmanship meet in one of the most beautiful corners of the Pacific Northwest.

​We’ll start our afternoon with a relaxed walk along the Sammamish River Trail, surrounded by fall colors and flowing water — a reminder that meaning, like language, moves and adapts with its surroundings. Our path will lead us to a Woodinville winery, where we’ll share a guided tasting, good conversation, and a few reflections on the nature of nuance.

​The theme of this LocWalk is “Cultural Nuance in Nature and Craft.” In winemaking, the term terroir describes how soil, climate, and tradition shape the flavor and identity of a wine — the subtle characteristics that make each bottle unique. In localization, terroir is what we strive to capture when we bring culture, emotion, and context into global experiences.

​This gathering is a chance to slow down, connect, and explore nuance together — through conversation, nature, and a shared appreciation for craft. You’ll walk, talk, taste, and leave with new friends and a fresh perspective on how culture shapes everything we create.
