Bertrum House 10th Birthday Summer Picnic
Bertrum House is ten and to celebrate we'd like to invite all our lovely families to a birthday picnic on our field. We'll open up all the children's favourite areas as well as some special activities to enjoy together.
Bring a picnic blanket, pack your favourite bits, and come to catch up with old friends! We’ll have drinks and one or two food stalls if you’d rather buy something here.
Over the past ten years we've fundraised for some very special charities who have supported the children in our community.
All proceeds from tickets will be split between:
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust
Downs South London
The Evelina London Children's Charity
Little Village
St George’s Hospital Charity
Winkworth Tooting are our lead sponsor for this event, so every ticket supports the charities listed above.
Tickets are only required for children aged 2 and over and include all the activities on the field
There is no charge for adult tickets and all children need to be supervised by an adult
We're using a pay-what-you-can approach, so you can choose to donate what works for your family:
We want the event to be inclusive and for everyone to attend, so if you need complimentary tickets, please contact the office.
What to expect:
A relaxed, family-friendly afternoon with space to roam, sit, snack, and reconnect with old friends. As you would expect from Bertrum, we will have some extra cover on the Field but the picnic will go ahead whatever the weather!

Drinks and food available to buy on site
Favourite field activities including the mud kitchen, sandpit and climbing frame
A range of summer fair activities such as face paints, henna tattoos, pot painting and seed planting
Quiet space
We are really looking forward to catching up with our current, old and prospective families and hope that you can join us.
A key moment (3:00pm)
At 3:00pm we’ll gather for a birthday cake + sing-along to some of the Bertrum classics
House rules (so everyone can relax)
No dogs
No alcohol to be brought onto site
And just so you know, we will be taking photographs to record our celebration and by buying a ticket you consent to your image appearing on Instagram.
