Part II: Transforming the Future of Healthcare: Panel Discussion

The second part of the program will open with a keynote address by Dr. Ameen Mirjan, EMBA, Director of Digital Health Strategy at Evinova, an independent digital health business backed my AstraZeneca.

This will be followed by short expert presentations and a moderated panel discussion featuring:

  • Dr. Bernard Cho – Founder & CEO, Med Arcade (AI in Healthcare)

  • Dr. Ruben Ruiz-Mateos Serrano – Founder & CEO, Polytecks (Non-invasive Diagnostics)

  • Dr. Kyra Ungerleider – Founding Scientist, OvartiX (Femtech)

📍 Join us at the iconic Judge Business School
Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with the ideas and leaders shaping the future of healthcare.

Meet Our Speakers:

Dr. Ameen Mirjan is Director of Digital Health Strategy at Evinova, an independent digital health business within the AstraZeneca Group. Within his role, Ameen focuses on shaping how AI and digital health capabilities are embedded across global clinical programs to strengthen trial design, improve patient access and recruitment, enable scalable remote data collection, and support the generation of high-quality evidence.

Ameen began his career in patient-facing hospital roles within the public healthcare sector before moving into digital health, founding Capxule Inc., a health technology integration firm focused on oncology workflow optimization and decentralized clinical trials, and subsequently transitioning into the pharmaceutical industry. He holds degrees in engineering and pharmacy, a Doctor of Pharmacy focused on oncology research and management, and an Executive MBA from the University of Cambridge, where his academic work examined the scalable implementation of digital health technologies across complex healthcare ecosystems.

Dr. Bernard Cho is a health data scientist and founder/CEO of Med Arcade, where he is building clinical AI software to simplify patient data and amplify health and care through precision medicine. He holds a PhD in Clinical Neurosciences and previously helped set up genetic labs globally. Bernard has taken part in several startup accelerators, including EF, EWOR and SPARK 1.0.

Dr. Ruben Ruiz-Mateos Serrano is CEO of Polytecks and a bioelectronics researcher at the University of Cambridge, specialising in smart textile electrodes and flexible sensing technologies for non-invasive diagnostics and physiological monitoring. His work bridges materials science, bioelectronics, and clinical translation, with a focus on developing scalable platforms for next-generation medical diagnostics.

Dr. Kyra Ungerleider is the Founding Scientist at OvartiX, a biotech company pioneering ovary-centric drug discovery for women's reproductive health. OvartiX combines large-scale human multi-omics data with engineered female-specific cell models — both 2D and 3D — to unlock therapeutic opportunities for previously inaccessible targets rooted in ovarian dysfunction and aging.

With over 10 years of experience in longevity and DNA damage research, Kyra holds a PhD in Clinical Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge. Dr. Ungerleider previously served as a Cancer Research Training Award Fellow at the National Cancer Institute, where she specialized in cellular senescence and DNA damage response mechanisms. She is now leveraging her expertise in high-throughput CRISPR and small-molecule screening to develop novel therapeutics for conditions that disproportionately or uniquely affect women, including PCOS, infertility, and ovarian aging.
