Chris has been involved in the Liquidation of Three Arrows Capital as well as numerous other high profile crypto litigations. He will share some war stories from these different liquidations as well as unique insights into what makes crypto liquidations different from traditional finance.

About the speaker:

Christopher Farmer is a Senior Managing Director with Teneo in the BVI and is a founding member and global head of Teneo’s Financial Advisory Digital Assets and Blockchain Team.

Chris is a JIEB qualified FCA and has been working as a restructuring and insolvency specialist since 2006. He currently acts as a licensed insolvency practitioner in the BVI where he has been part of the senior management team since 2015.

Chris has, and continues to act, on some of the highest profile BVI Insolvency appointments of recent years. Most notably, he is one of the Joint Liquidators of Three Arrows Capital Limited (In Liquidation). In addition to core restructuring and insolvency engagements he has also delivered M&A, Transaction Advisory, Forensic and other advisory solutions for clients.

Chris has previously spoken on panels for Insol International, the Turnaround and Management Association in South America, Asset Recovery Americas, Offshore Alert, and Global Turnaround in addition to being a former member of the RISA (BVI) Limited technical committee, the BVI’s INSOL member organisation.Event information:
