LabWeek Closing Session: Advancing the Field

​Your presence is kindly requested on June 15th, from 5-6:30pm, for an output-focused synthesis of this LabWeek.

​The goal is to identify high-quality, actionable proposals that can significantly advance the Neurotech, AI, Biotech, and XR fields in the coming year.

​Using a LLM, we will extract:

• ​Field-building proposals proposals,

• ​Identify technical bottlenecks fit for prizes,

• ​FROs proposals

• ​Possible company ideas.

​Selected participants will review and rate proposals, suggest improvements, and discuss potential collaborations.

​Event format

​The LabWeek Closing Session will begin with a brief introduction and an overview of the process. You will be guided through the synthesis of the week’s exchanges, where talks, notes, and supporting materials have been collated into a comprehensive database of proposals.

​In the breakout sessions, we will divide-up by area of expertise (Neurotech, AI, Biotech, and XR ) and review and rate 5 field building proposals per category (FROs, companies, prizes to overcome bottlenecks).

​We will also aim to identify gaps, draft potential missing proposals, and refine and enhance the proposals to ensure they are robust and actionable.

​The session will end in a report-out and open discussion. Here, participants will share their findings, deliberate on the most promising proposals, and explore potential synergies between different ideas.
