​About the Internship (Student-in-Residence Fellowship)

• ​Commitment: ~2–3 hours/week

• ​Work you’ll do: due diligence, industry analyses, and internal firm projects

• ​Who it’s for: All backgrounds; finance, business, tech, etc.

• ​Exposure: Close collaboration with Cindy and the other Managing Partner; resume-ready deliverables (market maps, memos, theses, founder pitches, presentations to LPs)

​What this session covers

• ​What to expect as an Illuminate intern (workflow, cadence, outputs)

• ​Illuminate’s investment thesis and how they source differentiated deals in a competitive landscape

• ​Practical recruiting tips to stand out in VC
