About Event

Presented by The BERG Collective
Sponsored by Betterment

If you’re ready to take control of your finances, break old habits, and build healthier ones, this session is for you. Join The BERG Collective, in partnership with Betterment, for the second installment of our Financial Empowerment Series—a four-part journey designed to help you build wealth with clarity and confidence.

In this interactive virtual session, you’ll hear from Dana Wilson, founder and CEO of CHIP.

With more than sixteen years of experience in financial services across Merrill Lynch, State Farm, and SunTrust Bank, Dana recognized a major gap in the industry: people struggled to find diverse certified financial experts they could trust. In 2020, she launched CHIP (Changing How Individuals Prosper) to close that gap, creating a directory of Black and Latine financial professionals and fueling a wealth-building movement focused on closing the racial wealth divide.

Dana knows that the path to financial independence is emotional and shaped by systemic barriers, especially for Black and Latine professionals. She brings a grounded, practical approach, and we’re excited for her to share real, actionable guidance with our community.

This session is open to all working professionals, whether you’re a salaried employee or an entrepreneur.
