Afterwork Networking MADRID (South Africa & German wine)
Elowines Afterwork Networking is a relaxed networking evening in a wine bar Le Closet.
After hosting 30+ events in Barcelona, we launched in Madrid. Our idea is simple: bring interesting & ambitious people together, pour rare wine, put some snacks on the table and actually have time to meet each other. It’s still networking & wine degustation, just without the formal setup - it's more like an evening where conversations happen naturally and you can leave having genuinely met a few new people.
This time we’ll be pouring 🇿🇦 South Africa & 🇩🇪 German wine throughout the evening.
South Africa and Germany might not be the first two countries you'd think of tasting side by side — which is exactly why we wanted to bring them together.
South Africa is famous for its Pinotage reds, but - if you didn't know - the white grapes like Chegnin Blanc that we'll taste are having a momentum, especially in Franschhoek wine region near Cape Twon. Germany, meanwhile, is much more than Riesling, producing elegant Pinot Noir (Spätburgunder), crisp whites, and increasingly impressive reds across 13 officially recognised wine regions, from the Mosel to Baden.
This isn’t a formal tasting or a wine lecture. It’s an afterwork: come for a glass, compare two completely different wine cultures, discover something you probably wouldn’t normally order, and meet other curious, international people living in Madrid.

All tickets are non-refundable, but transferable to another person.
