Hospital Medicine 101 @ UC West Chester

​Details:

​Please park your car anywhere in one of the parking lots in front of the main hospital, which is adjacent to the Emergency Department. There are several parking lots to choose from.

​Please get dropped off right in front of the MAIN Hospital doors, so you don’t have to enter the emergency department.

​We will meet right in the lobby of the hospital – there’s a huge piano in the lobby right by the elevators, we will meet to the left of that area, and then take the elevator or stairs down to the bottom floor at the appointed meeting time.

​What happens at this event:

​Most physicians and nurses work right in hospitals! During the Hospital Medicine 101 event, you will explore what those professions look like in the hospital, including a thorough tour.

​Internal Medicine and Hospitalists treat the patients who are in the hospital while being treated or diagnosed. (Think of the physicians and nurses you see the most on hospital TV shows :)

​You'll also see what it's like to do PT and other specialties on patients who are in the hospital - and we'll check out a state-of-the art Lab!!
