Industrial EIS Fundamentals: From Clean Signals to Interpretation
Workshop Overview
Industrial EIS Fundementals: From Clean Signals to Interpretation
EIS is a non-invasive window into your cells. But a spectrum is only as good as your signal and how you read it. This in-person workshop covers the essentials: how EIS works, how to set up and validate a signal, and how to read Nyquist and Bode plots. You will also see when multisine EIS saves time.
In this workshop, you will see examples that come from real battery, fuel cell, and hydrogen work.
What You’ll Learn
Configure EIS signals that stay linear, causal, and stable
Read Nyquist and Bode plots to separate real physics from noise
Use multisine EIS to cut measurement time without sacrificing data quality
Who This Workshop Is For
This session is designed for:
Battery, hydrogen, and fuel cell OEMs
R&D leaders, test engineers, and validation teams working with EIS data
Teams currently using or evaluating the use of EIS for engineering decisions
Workshop Details
Duration: Full day (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST)
Format: In-person workshop, August 7, 2026
Cost: Free (registration required)
Agenda
9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Breakfast
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Workshop
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Lunch
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Networking
Why Attend
As EIS moves from research benches into formation lines, validation protocols, and production QA, the cost of a bad signal or a misread plot compounds fast. This workshop helps testing teams:
Build measurement setups that hold up to scrutiny (linear, causal, stable)
Avoid fitting equivalent circuits to noise instead of physics
Cut testing time with multisine EIS without sacrificing data quality
