Data Dinner - Data Products Edition
Following two evenings of lively debate on data trust and data contracts, our third Data Dinner brings together data leaders to explore the next frontier: Data Products.
This is not a conversation about technical plumbing. It is about what happens when you treat data as a product, with ownership, trust, and quality baked in from the start, and how that shift removes the barrier to entry for everyone, whether they are building a standard report or a cutting-edge AI agent.
Our Guest: Ruud Van Beusekom
Ruud Van Beusekom, Senior Product Owner at Alliander, is using data products to unite the Netherlands' four electricity grids, where sharing data translates directly into smarter energy consumption at a national scale.
He will share how his team built a visual, 3D "data product universe": datasets mapped like planets with simple red, amber, and green health statuses, underpinned by data contracts across every element to keep the entire lineage reliable. A brilliant example of making complex data infrastructure both human and trustworthy.
