About the project
Esquimalt Village Cohousing is a group of regular folks building our own inclusive and vibrant neighborhood in the Greater Victoria area. This six-story village will feature thirty-four apartments in one, two, and three-bedroom layouts.
Built sustainably: smaller footprint, lower bills, higher quality
Neighbours who notice when you’re not around – and offer to water your plants.
For a whole life: working professionals, families, young children and elders.
Individually titled units: ordinary title, ordinary mortgage.
Big News: Our rezoning is approved! Units are now being reserved on a first-come basis. With this major hurdle cleared, there has never been a better time to join this community.
Originating in Denmark, Cohousing is a collaborative, resident-developed housing model designed to overcome the isolation of modern living. It combines the autonomy of full-equipped private homes with generous community amenities designed to foster connection, including:
Shared Dining & Kitchen
Workshop
Coworking Space
