About Event

Are you engineering materials that industry cannot yet source — but urgently needs? We want to see what you're building.

On May 21st, Marvelous is opening the floor to founders working on novel materials and chemistry for industrial decarbonization — for a focused, 30-minute pitch session in front of our General Partners and a room of LPs and corporate innovation executives from Europe's leading deep tech companies.

This is a curated, invite-only session, and we want to hear from you. We invest at Pre-Seed and Seed in science-based, hardware-driven startups with patentable IP. If your chemistry or material is replacing a toxic incumbent, unlocking a critical-mineral-free alternative, or enabling a process that didn't exist before — let's talk.

⚗️ What we're looking for:

→ Genuinely novel materials or chemistry — not bio-labelled versions of incumbent molecules

→ Clear application in heavy industry, built environment, or industrial-scale processes (TRL 3–8)

→ Science-based approaches with defensible IP

→ In-scope:

novel catalysis

· green chemicals & metals

· electrochemistry

· MOFs & advanced ceramics

· low-carbon cement & geopolymers

· PFAS-free chemistry

· separation membranes

· critical-raw-material substitutes

🎙️ In the room: Marvelous General Partners + LPs and innovation executives from Deep Tech Momentum
