Belonging & Becoming Abroad
A complimentary live workshop for expats who've already made the move, and are now facing the part nobody warns you about: belonging doesn't happen just because you arrived.
You don't need to wait until your Spanish (or your target language) is fluent. You don't need to become a different person to fit in. What you already carry as an outsider:
your perspective
your questions
the way you notice things locals stopped seeing years ago
...all that is an asset. It's not something to hide while you catch up.
In this session, we'll work through:
What's actually keeping you feeling like a guest rather than a neighbor
How to turn what makes you different into something your community values
Real, concrete ways to get a foot in the door with your local community (even before you're fluent)
Permission to experiment your way into belonging (instead of waiting to feel 100% ready)
You'll leave with a clearer sense of what integration actually looks like for you and the next steps to take after the workshop.
