

MCLE Supreme Court 2025-2026 Term Review

Please join the Women Lawyers of Ventura County for a review of the 2025-2026 U.S. Supreme Court Term that wrapped up at the end of June 2026. The consequential cases from this term include decisions effecting executive power, transgender sports bans, voting rights, and more.
Tanya Pellegrini (she/her/ella) is Co-Director, Litigation at the Lawyering Project, a nationwide organization dedicated to eliminating restrictions on abortion and other reproductive health care services. Tanya litigates reproductive rights and constitutional law impact litigation cases through trial and appeal in state and federal courts. Recently, Tanya argued an appeal before the North Dakota Supreme Court. Tanya came to the Lawyering Project from MALDEF (Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund), where she litigated civil rights and constitutional law impact litigation cases in several practice areas, including voting rights, immigrant rights, and employment. Tanya is a graduate of the University of California Law San Francisco, and University of California, Santa Barbara.
Tanya is a current board member of the Women Lawyers of Ventura County.
