​As global financial and technology leaders converge in Singapore for the Singapore FinTech Festival 2026, the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in collaboration with the Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship (CFTE) will launch the AI Spotlight Observatory, marking an important step towards shared knowledge and international collaboration in AI-driven finance.

​Building on the AI Spotlight and Supercharged Sandbox, the AI in Finance Observatory aims to turn innovation into structured knowledge creating a shared language to classify AI use cases and a growing evidence base of real-world implementations across financial services.

​Combining the FCA's regulatory innovation leadership with CFTE's expertise in capability building, applied research and ecosystem engagement, the launch will bring together industry leaders, regulators, innovators and researchers for a live demonstration, expert discussion and exchange of practical insights.
