Into the Wild E1: Maroubra-Malabar Hike
Let’s get outdoors together and keep the community going! I’m kicking off a new series of hikes and camping trips with one of my backyard favourites - the Maroubra-Malabar walk. This first one will be easy and nearby, a chance to test the waters before we push the horizons further. :)
Logistics
Meet at the parking spot (plenty of space before 9am)
We’ll wait 15 minutes for latecomers, but start at 9 sharp
Plan: do an out-and-back along the best views if time allows, otherwise do shorter circuit (full details)
Bring: water + a snack (we’ll return around 1pm), and swimsuits for an optional dip at the beach or Malabar rock pool
Bonus: try the first 45 minutes of silent walking for a meditative reset
Why I’m Doing This
Hiking has been my reset button since childhood - from evening walks with my parents when I was a kid, to summers hiking Crimean mountains in my teens, to long treks across stunning places like Norway, Iceland, Switzerland and the US national parks. Nature gives me energy, insight, and perfect environment for building deeper connections. I'd love to share that same spirit with the community.
Excited to kick this off - hope you can join! Hit me up if you have any questions.
