General Blood Donation DON’Ts:
High-risk lifestyles: Having multiple sex partners, homosexuals relationships, bisexual relationships
Intravenous Drug Use: Any history of injecting drugs illegally (even once)
Chronic Infections Diseases: HIV, Hep B, Hep C, or Syphilis
Medical Conditions: severe heart disease, kidney disease, cancer, uncontrolled diabetes
Alcohol or Chinese traditional medicine or acupuncture for the last 24 hours
Aspirin consumption for the past 3 days
Antibiotics consumption for the past 2 weeks
Received live vaccines for the past 4 weeks
Did blood donation for the past 3 months (male)
Tattoo, body piercing, major surgery, full recovery from dengue or blood transfusions for the past 6 months
