About Sharon Waxkirsh
Sharon Waxkirsh, a UK native, is Director of the Academy for Hypnosis, a training school accredited by the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (ACHE). She also serves as a board member of the Dave Elman Hypnotherapy Institute. Her students, drawn from more than 13 countries, include psychotherapists, surgeons, dentists, experienced hypnotherapists, and those new to the field.
Sharon trained with renowned hypnotherapists Gil Boyne, Dr. John Butler, and Marie Mongan.
She has maintained private practice for over two decades, working with clients of all ages to address both psychological and physiological conditions.
In a pioneering development within the field, Sharon became the first person to use hypnosis as the sole alternative to chemical anesthesia during a hernia operation in a veterinary setting at Selçuk University.
