Can humanity stop the development of superintelligence? What happens when a few people decide to protest outside the world's biggest AI companies to stop the AI race?
In September 2025, Guido Reichstadter, Denys Sheremet, and Michaël Trazzi went on hunger strikes outside Google DeepMind and Anthropic, asking AI leaders to pause the race to superintelligence. The protest lasted more than 30 days, drew international media attention including Sky News, The Telegraph, Le Monde and The Verge got support from DeepMind employees, and even forced a public response from Google DeepMind.
Over the past three months, a small team from Mox, including Michaël Trazzi (hunger striker and director of the SB-1047 documentary) and Justin Kieper (scriptwriter for many of Drew Spartz's recent videos) produced a ~25-minute documentary about the protest.
Join us for the world premiere on Thursday January 8th, the same day the film goes public, at Mox SF (1680 Mission St, San Francisco).
