​hiii garden clubbers! 🌱

​our first official garden club meeting is finally here!

​we have a working schedule for the garden club and will be sharing it as progress is made. for now though, we're starting at phase 0, which leila beautifully breaks down in the ageda she created HERE.

• ​this event is only open to soft(spaces) members & guests of soft(spaces) members.

• ​all garden club communication happens in the garden club chat in mighty! please ask any questions there!

​PHASE 0 SUMMARY:

​Sterilization, Sanitization, and Stock Check

​Any containers, pots, bags, etc plants will be grown in need to be thoroughly cleaned

​before soil, seeds, plants make their homes within them. Plants can get diseases and

​fungal infections just like we can, so it’s important to give them a good start - especially

​since we plan on eating the plants eventually.

​Rinsing things out with a hose or with regular soap and water is filling a coin and hoping for the best ✨

• ​The soft(spaces) Clubhouse located in The Bronx (10456), ~0.7 miles from the 2/5 Freeman Street subway station. Exact address is shared with confirmed RSVPs!

• ​clubhouse ground/backyard level: 5 steps from street level: (outside) 5 steps → landing with ample moving space → ~3' walkway to backyard

• ​the clubhouse 1st floor: 16 steps from street level: (outside) 5 steps → landing with ample moving space → 11 steps → landing/ front porch deck → (inside) → 1st floor.
