π Exit the Void: crafting meaning rich experiences [members]
βWhat's a powerful memory you look back on and it just puts a grin on your face to think about?
βDo you know what made that memory so special?
βMeaning isn't one thing. What makes one experience fulfilling is different than what makes another experience fulfilling. Together we will learn how to identify different sources of meaning in our own lives. To do this we will dig deep into the stories that have filled our lives and learn how to pay better attention to our emotions. We will see emotions as windows into something important we care about.
βThen we'll flesh out those sources of meaning into replicable pieces of DNA and begin infusing more real experiences into our lives to live by those meanings.
βIn order for this to go well, we need a group of people that are:
βπ Kind
βπͺ΄ Willing to be vulnerable (storytelling and investigating your emotions will be core)
βπ Able and willing to inspect your emotions
β𧱠Committed (in order to be vulnerable, we need a safe space and to build real connections. Thus, I ask that you be able to commit to at least 3 of the 4 sessions, though ideally all of them π)
βSome sessions will likely have a short reading to do beforehand (10 minutes max) so that we can gain context beforehand, and spend more of our time together interacting. These will come from the first 4 chapters of the free online book, Values-Based Social Design.
