Play for Impact | Spiel-Abend
Ein Abend, zwei Spiele — du wählst.
Bevor im November das Side-Event zum Impact Festival steigt, spielen wir gemeinsam. In echt, an Tischen und auf Decken, im WDC-Hub im Museum Angewandte Kunst, in zwei parallelen Runden:
🎯 Das 2030 SDGs Game — das erfahrungsbasierte Planspiel aus Japan: Mit echten Verhandlungen und sichtbaren Folgen erlebst du, wie aus individuellen Zielen ein gemeinsames Morgen wird. Weltweit über 400.000 Teilnehmende.
🧺 Picknick in die Zukunft — dein Team reist in eine positive Zukunft: Picknickdecken statt Konferenzraum, Bewegung statt Stuhlreihen. Was entsteht, ist keine Strategie von oben, sondern echtes Commitment.
Bei der Anmeldung wählst du deinen Track. Kein Vorwissen nötig, nur Neugier — danach kommen beide Runden zum gemeinsamen Austausch zusammen.
Zum Auftakt stellen wir kurz vor, was Play for Impact ist und wohin die Reise geht: zur Community und zum Side-Event am 24. November (17–21 Uhr, TechQuartier Frankfurt am Main).

Wo wir spielen
Der Abend findet im WDC-Hub im Museum Angewandte Kunst statt — der zentralen Anlaufstelle der World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026. Der Hub ist als „Raum im Werden" angelegt: eine Einladung, Gestaltung als gesellschaftliche Praxis mitzudenken und mitzugestalten. Ein besserer Ort für einen Abend über Spiele als Werkzeug der Transformation fällt uns kaum ein.
Möglich wird das durch die Kooperation mit der Wirtschaftsförderung Frankfurt am Main, die uns den Raum im WDC-Hub zur Verfügung stellt. Danke dafür.

One evening, two games — you choose.
Before the side event to the Impact Festival in November, we play together. In person, at tables and on blankets, at the WDC-Hub in the Museum Angewandte Kunst, in two parallel rounds:
🎯 The 2030 SDGs Game — the experience-based simulation from Japan: through real negotiation and visible consequences you experience how individual goals turn into a shared tomorrow. Over 400,000 participants worldwide.
🧺 Picnic into the Future — your team travels into a positive future: picnic blankets instead of a conference room, movement instead of rows of chairs. What emerges is not a strategy handed down from above, but real commitment.
You choose your track when you register. No prior knowledge needed, just curiosity — afterwards both rounds come together to share what happened.
To open, we briefly introduce what Play for Impact is and where it is heading: the community, and the side event on 24 November (5–9 pm, TechQuartier Frankfurt am Main).

Where we play
The evening takes place at the WDC-Hub in the Museum Angewandte Kunst — the central hub of World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026. It is designed as a space in the making: an invitation to think of design as a social practice and to help shape it. We can hardly imagine a better venue for an evening about games as a tool for transformation.
