Winter Solstice : Gathering at the Center

​Winter invites us inward.

​Drawing us into the silent stillness that lives beneath the body, beneath the breath, and at the seat of the Soul. The elements serve not as things to be witnessed, but as companions. Air, offering us its cooler presence. Waters seeking their own stillness moving towards ice. Fire sharing its warm embers as the sunlight rests into the belly of the horizon. And Earth, inviting us to remember what is Alive beneath it all.

​At the Winter Solstice, we gather within this temple of stillness to share an evening devoted to quiet as a living presence, to remember that life has many expressions. There is the life that blossoms and reaches toward the sun, and there is the life held quietly within root, seed, soil, and sleeping branch.

​Both are alive.

​Both belong.

​We will gather at the center to enter the sensory landscape of the season, co-creating moments for inward listening, embodied rest, and the simple nourishment of being in community on one of the longest nights of the year.

​Together, we will:

• ​Experience winter through sensory and elemental ritual

• ​Explore gentle somatic movement that draws awareness toward center

• ​Share periods of intentional silence and contemplative reflection

• ​Honor the living wisdom of root, seed, soil, darkness, and dormancy

• ​Receive the nourishment of warmth by welcoming the medicine of Cacao

​You are invited to bring:

• ​A token or guiding memento that supports your journey

• ​Blanket, pillow, towel, cushion for comfort*

• ​Mug for Cacao

• ​Offering for the Earth Altar
