From Girlhood to Menopause: ADHD & Women Across the Lifespan
From Girlhood to Menopause: ADHD & Women Across the Lifespan
For a lot of women, ADHD hides in plain sight. It looks like being "a little scattered" as a girl, "just stressed" as a young adult, and "hormonal" later on. Many of us don't get answers until we're adults, sometimes not until our own kids are diagnosed.
In this free live panel, a mother and daughter who both have ADHD join ADHD coach Cherry Kostrewa to talk about how ADHD shows up for women at every stage of life, and the support that makes a difference along the way.
Dra. Norma Echavarría is an Argentine psychiatrist who has worked with adults with ADHD since 1996, and one of the first voices to talk about ADHD publicly in Argentina. She realized she had ADHD herself at 36, and she's a mom of five.
Lucía Miri Echavarría is Norma's daughter, an ADHD coach based in New York, and one of Argentina's best-known ADHD voices. Together, Norma and Lucía share the everyday, honest side of ADHD with a community of more than 120,000 followers.
Cherry Kostrewa (@cherry.adhd) is an ADHD coach who was diagnosed later in life. At our ADHD Growth Summit, she spoke on our late diagnosis panel and led a session on ADHD and sleep.
Moderated by Tracy Mulholland, Lead Coach at Shimmer.
