xGen East Summer Drinks

​Save the date: Join us on Tuesday, August 25, from 4:30–7:30 PM for a casual summer gathering of former Generators.

​Hosted by Matan Friedman and organized by Asher Goldman and Marisa Sweeney, the evening is an opportunity to reconnect with old colleagues, meet fellow alumni, and catch up on where everyone has landed since Generate.

​Stop by anytime between 4:30 and 7:30. No formal program, just drinks, bites, conversation, and good company. Please indicate any dietary restrictions at registration.

​Location: Croton-Reservoir-Tavern (40th St & 6th Ave)

Fun Venue Fact: We picked Croton Reservoir Tavern for a reason beyond it's proximity to trains! The bar is named for the Croton Distributing Reservoir, which once stood where the New York Public Library and Bryant Park are today. Completed in 1842, it was part of the Croton Aqueduct system that transformed New York City by bringing reliable drinking water into Manhattan. For a group of Generate alumni, a happy hour at a bar named after a piece of 19th-century infrastructure felt too fitting to pass up
