Damin Spritzer (USA) – Cathedral Keys
Cathedral Keys 🎹☀️🎶
Vibrant talent for glowing summer evenings
Damin Spritzer is Associate Professor of Organ at the University of Oklahoma, and Artist-in-Residence for Cathedral Arts in Dallas. An internationally recognised performer and scholar, she is a frequent recording artist with Raven and was the first American woman to record at Hereford Cathedral.
Spritzer plays with enormous sensitivity and musicianship... the music comes alive under her touch! — AAM Journal
A feast of exuberance and energy, her programme takes full advantage of the cathedral's majestic pipe organ (built in 1879) with music that ranges from the delicate to the heroic. Showcasing her skill with an almost exclusively American lineup of composers, Damin Spritzer brings us a flavour of the 250th anniversary celebrations taking place in the USA this summer.
