​COYOTE is a worker-owned alt weekly covering the stories that matter to the Bay Area, including what to do if you see ICE in your hood, how SNAP recipients can find free meals, and a rallying cry against Waymo.

​We’re reporters and podcasters, filmmakers and photographers, opinion columnists and culture critics who envisioned an outlet that reflected the complexity and depth of the region we know and love. We serve readers who want to feel more connected to their communities, and who understand that a city’s greatest asset is the everyday people and families living within it.

​BFF.fm is San Francisco’s nonprofit community radio station, bringing you the best in independent music and local culture since 2013. Broadcasting online 24/7 with over 100 diverse DJs, we also keep you connected to the Bay Area music scene via Locals ONLY, an automated playlist highlighting homegrown artists around the clock. BFF.fm hopes to bring our LPFM terrestrial station 104.9fm KBFN onto the airwaves in 2026.

​BFF.fm’s mission is to support and mentor Bay Area DJs who wouldn’t generally have access to airtime, and provides a place to learn, experiment, and gain real world experience. Central to our mission is a commitment to supporting and celebrating underrepresented independent musicians, especially those from the Bay Area.
